I don’t like country music, but I don’t mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means ‘put down’.

I heard on the radio that a prison bus collided with a cement truck. Apparently eight hardened criminals were found dead. I was doubtful about the story, but there was concrete evidence.
